Speaker — LABITCONF 2023, Buenos Aires
Invited to speak on art at South America's largest crypto conference.

In 2023 I was invited to speak at LABITCONF, Latin America's largest crypto and blockchain conference, on the intersection of crypto and art — specifically, how artists can actually build sustainable careers inside this space rather than just riding hype cycles.
The talk pushed back on the idea that crypto art is just speculation with extra steps. I made the case that the artists who last are the ones who treat it like any other discipline — building a body of work, understanding the culture instead of just extracting from it, and thinking in years rather than drops. Being early to a movement doesn't mean much if you're not building something that holds up once the noise dies down.
Speaking to a room of builders, investors, and collectors was a chance to argue that art and technical infrastructure aren't opposites — the same instinct that makes someone good at reading a market is often the same instinct that makes them good at reading a room, a trend, or a moment.
